Mgiftoz The Entertainer posted with a heavy heart that he is ready to quit the music industry (he is behind some of Busta 929’s biggest hits).
The vocalist says he hasn’t been credited for his work on songs such as Sdudla no Slenda, Vanda, Sgodo, Yuriboyka, and Nompumelelo. “I have a daughter that needs me full force as a father and here I am famous but with a low bank balance,” he shares.
“Am writing this in fear, that what will happen to my relationship with Busta after this but what about me someone who gave more than 4 hit songs and never got paid.”
Mgiftoz explains that things went sour between him and Busta after he declined his offer to sign to his record label. He continues: “I come back home empty-handed so what assurance did I have that the label or Busta himself will change on the way he treated.”
Responding to the allegations through an official statement, Busta deemed them “false” and says Mgiftoz was credited accordingly for his contribution.
He says he is in consultation with his legal team “to pursue remedial actions for the above defamatory and character assignations.”
Busta further demands that Mgiftos remove the post on social media and issue an apology.
