Congratulations to South African television actress Buntu Petse, who recently got engaged.
It was a heartwarming moment when her boyfriend knelt down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
Excitedly sharing the news of her engagement, Petse expressed her gratitude, saying, “Oh my love! Congratulations!! May God’s favour and grace rest upon you guys.”
Former Generations actress Candice Modiselle joined in the celebrations and congratulated Petse. “Oh my love! Congratulations!! May God’s favour and grace rest upon you guys.”
Who is Buntu Petse?
Buntu Petse landed her breakout role in 2019 as the passionate young feminist Nontle Majola in the iconic South African soapie Generations: The Legacy.
More recently, she landed the role of Mbali Hadebe in Netflix’s Miseducation. Radebe is determined to start afresh in a small university town when her mother is in the spotlight for corruption, nullifying her IT girl status and sending her straight to the cancelled list. She is forced to think of a reinvention strategy.
Unsubscribing from the drama in Johannesburg brings new challenges as she quickly becomes the talk of Grahamstown University. Throw in a couple of misfit friends, Jay and Natalie, who can be swayed to do just about anything with the right amount of convincing, and a new campus crush, Sivu Levine, and Mbali is on her way to retain her clout, or so she thinks. What Mbali doesn’t count on are her haters, who will stop at nothing to bring her right back down to earth. Cue ‘Comrade’ Caesar, a long-standing (read old) SRC president, and Raeesa, a resident gossip girl, who stops at nothing to expose Mbali’s shady past.
