Legendary actor Ronnie Nyakale, best known for his role as Cosmo Diale in Generations: The Legacy, recently shared a video in which he appeared unfazed by the reactions on social media after it was revealed that he is now a Bolt driver.
Nyakale, whose film credits include Blood Diamond, Machine Gun Preacher, and Gangster’s Paradise: Jerusalema, made his mark in the acting world before bidding farewell to Generations: The Legacy on August 28 after a decade-long run.
The discussion began when a social media user posted a screenshot of Nyakale’s Bolt profile, sparking widespread curiosity about his transition from acting to driving for the ride-hailing service. Despite the buzz, Nyakale remains unfazed by the reactions, confidently embracing his new venture.

This was followed by fans excitedly sharing their rides with Ronnie, one share that she “felt like a celebrity”
Most recently Nyakale shared a video of himself with a caption encouraging his fans to keep pushing, “Hustlers anywhere!! Push” he wrote.

This is not the first time a South African actor shared their experience as a Bolt driver, in 2023 former Isibaya actor Sayitsheni Mdakhi best known as Saddam in the telenovela also joined the e-hailing business.
