Connie Chiume (70), a veteran award-winning actor, will be presented with another lifetime achievement award in October.
At the South African Film and Television Award (SAFTAs), the former Rhythm City star earned her first-lifetime achievement award.
Mzansi Magic congratulated the Gomora actress for her well-deserved recognition.
“Legendary, timeless and an incredible thespian can not describe Mam Connie Chiume. A well-deserved Saftas golden horn for her lifetime of service to the industry,“
Chiume will be making her way to the US to accept her second-lifetime achievement award in under 2 months.

The Black Panther actor also expressed her thanks for the honour and respect she received from the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards.
“Two-lifetime awards in the space of two months? God, thank you,”Flying to the USA this October. I cannot wait.” she wrote
The Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards honour African and American community leaders, prominent politicians from around the world, dignitaries, celebrities, and stars who have made significant contributions to comedy, art, music, and film in their sixth edition on October 29.
Congratulations are in order.
