Murdah Bongz has been accused of housebreaking and theft after his former label boss reportedly filed charges against him.
According to the Sunday World, the former Black Motion member, who now goes by the stage name Mörda, reportedly stole studio and mixing equipment worth thousands.
This after the artist’s former label manager, Moses Nkia Mokgoko reportedly filed charges against Mörda for breaking into Black Motion’s Centurion-based studio and rehearsal space.
The publication claims that Mörda reportedly stole studio monitors, a TV, computer hard drives and a mixing desk for his former group’s office and studio.
Mörda is accused of breaking into the duo’s studio on Thursday, 15 December, after allegedly forcing entry into the property which he no longer has access to.
This comes after Mörda found out during an interview on Kaya 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka, that he was replaced by Black Motion.
Mörda, who was under the impression that his decision to release his solo album didn’t mean the end of the line for him with Black Motion, expressed shock when Dineo asked how he felt about being replaced by Problem Child.
According to Mokgoko, this isn’t the first time that Mörda has done this, as he claims that DJ Zinhle’s husband broke into the office space previously.
Mokgoko claims that Mörda trashed the place after deleting some of the songs that his previous bandmate, Thabo Smol had recorded with his replacement.
Mörda reportedly also took Thabo’s passport before he angrily stormed off.
It is alleged that the first time the group decided not to press charges against him, instead they changed the locks so he could no longer get in.
Mörda has not responded to the allegations that he is facing charges of housebreaking and theft.
