Congratulations to Skeem Saam actress Keamogetswe Leburu, popular for playing Bontle in the educational drama, on her graduation. The actress shared the exciting news on social media.
Marking this massive achievement, Leburu noted that on her road to success, she used to disclose a lot of her plans to people until she realised that she was “sharing so much information with people whose ears run dry when they have to be my eyes and ears on tables full of opportunities, and my big mouth hinders most of my blessings.”
Leburu dedicated her achievement to her grandparents and family.
Her breakthrough journey began in 2013 after she was admitted to the Market Laboratory (Market Theatre). The following year, she joined the acclaimed South African music duo Mafikizolo as a backup dancer. She joined Skeem Saam in the same year.
She admits that she had thought about dropping out on multiple occasions as she had to juggle her acting career, music career, and school. Leburu received a lot of praise from her fans and fellow thespians for her resilience and commitment to her education.
