Bonang Matheba has been slammed for sharing a woman’s registration details after a fender bender.
Social media users criticised the media personality for chasing clout on her platforms by ousting the driver with her license registration revealed.
Bonang was told she should have simply gone to the nearest police station to report the fender bender, which is what drivers are advised to do in the event the other driver leaves the scene.
Some pointed out that there is no damage to the red Toyota Yaris in front, which makes Bonang’s claims that the driver “rammed” into her car and sped off.
The accident occured on Sunday, 03 July with the TV personality asking people to help find the woman.
Bonang’s actions did not make sense to loads of Tweeps who pointed out that she has the driver’s registration details, which would make her insurance company’s job to track the driver easy.

Bonang slammed for sharing the driver’s information:
“Maybe it’s just me but car insurance taught me not to worry about such things, it’s what I’m paying them for!”
“You honestly didn’t have to post their registration on social media. What she did was wrong but the right thing to have done was to report it at your local police station and also your insurance company should be able to assist in tracking her.”
“You have her registration and description yet you ask your followers to help find her. What are our police there for? This won’t end well Bonang, slightly disappointed with this”
Meanwhile, Bonang has defended her actions and responded to criticism by saying, how about we do both?
