Babes Wodumo and her husband Mampintsha Maphumulo are currently undergoing marriage counselling to help strengthen their marriage.
“We are now going to counselling to make sure that things are good between us as a couple, so this time is different. People will see that we are seeking help and that we are more mature. We are able to work well together without the noise,” Mampintsha told TshisaLIVE.
Babes says going to therapy has helped them a lot.
“It’s important to have a mediator in a marriage like a therapist because someone can hear both sides of the story. When it’s just the two of you everyone wants to be heard.”
Mampintsha, who is yet to attend therapy on his own recommends it for couples. “We’ve learnt that when you have problems, don’t run away from it,” he was quoted in part by the publication.
The couple’s reality show Uthando Lodumo has been renewed for a second season which follows their first year of marriage.
The reactions to the announcement haven’t been that positive as most viewers don’t see a need for season two – season one wasn’t that well received.
