What people did to Andile Mpisane at Propaganda nightclub in Pretoria was just cold. It was a reality check for the son of wealthy businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize that money can’t buy you fans.
After his performance at the club left patrons unimpressed, the socialite’s music career may be over before it even took off.
There wasn’t a single 20-something year-old who was feeling his performance, if anything the crowd looked bored.
The Royal AM big shot was dragged, with people saying he should use his money to fund talented artists instead of embarrassing himself.
Ouch!
There was just one message of support to the 21-year old, “I admire him for trying to find himself outside his mother’s wealth. He could have easily been one of those socialites out clubbing, doing drugs, but he’s trying to have a career.”
But the rest were not as kind, saying even after R200 notes were thrown into the crowd, no one reacted.
“Imagine peeps being so unimpressed by you, not even your money can convince them to scream when you tell them!”
