Sithelo Shozi has the full backing of the ANC Women’s League (ANCWL), who believe her claims that she was abused by her ex-boyfriend, Andile Mpisane.
Earlier this week, Sithelo shared with her 600 000 Instagram followers, that she suffered a miscarriage at the hands of Andile Mpisane.
Claiming the assault took place in a room full of their family and friends, Sithelo said she was rushed to the hospital and treated as if nothing had happened.
She shared pictures of her lips swollen and bloodied as well as scratches to her arms. While the allegations of assault have been vehemently denied by Andile’s mother Shauwn Mkhize, the ANCWL have backed Sithelo a hundred percent.

Andile’s mother has also come under heavy scrutiny following her stance on the matter, with several celebrities backing Sithelo.
Amanda du Pont, Mihlali Ndamase, Ntsiki Mazwai and Monique Muller, are amongst the women who have shown Sithelo support.
According to MamKhize, Sithelo’s allegations are defamatory and false and the matter has been handed over to the family’s attorneys.
Sithelo shared that she would be “beaten to a pulp weekly or monthly and then be given a bunch of flowers so she’d never speak out.”
Since the allegations were brought to the fore, GBV NGO Women For Change have also rallied behind Sithelo.
