After a two-year hiatus, following the global Coronavirus pandemic, music festival Rocking The Daisies returned with a star-studded performance lineup.
From America’s R&B sensation Kehlani, to UK rapper IAMDDB, oh and let’s not forget J-Coles label mate BAS, gracing festival goers with their presence.
The three-day festival is the oldest and most celebrated festival in Cape Town.
After 20 years Johannesburg citizens got the opportunity to experience this exciting moment.
Upon arriving in South Africa, American Rapper BAS, who mind you is no stranger to Mzansi, shared a picture of himself announcing his return.
“I’m back, dinstang?”, his caption read.
BAS again shared on Twitter how South Africa’s nightlife has his body feeling like “stage 4 load shedding”.
these South African clubs got my body on stage 4 load shedding. live niggas respect it

To which many South Africans were surprised by BAS’ familiarity with our struggles with loadshedding.
One Twitter user noted that this was a testament that South Africa is indeed BAS’ second home.
In response, this BAS jokingly told tweeps that he has the loadshedding app.
“I got the app”, BAS tweeted.
I got the app 😂 https://t.co/H8rSQrEVUN
