Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known by his stage-name AKA, shared his location on Instagram an hour before he was gunned down.
The multi-SAMA award winning artist was fatally shot on Florida Road, Durban on Friday, 10 February after having dinner at Wish restaurant.
AKA took to his Instagram stories to unknowingly share snippets of his final hours with his followers.

Prior to having dinner at the upmarket European-style restaurant, AKA and his friends went to BrydGroom stylists in Florida for a haircut and shave.
He shared a few short videos to his stories, telling his followers it was “Fresh Cut Fridays.”
AKA showed off his fresh fade two hours before he checked in to Wish On Florida for drinks and dinner with his lifelong friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
Tibz was also fatally shot after two unknown and armed suspects walked up to the pair and opened fire on them.
Both AKA and Tibz sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and AKA was pronounced dead on scene.
Details about the Fela In Versace hitmakers death has sparked conversation about whether South African artists are being targeted.
This after fellow music producer, DJ and artist, DJ Sumbody was also violently shot and killed in Woodmead, Johannesburg in November last year.
While the Organised Crime Unit has since taken over the investigation into AKA’s murder, many are questioning whether his death was coincidental or a planned hit.
The Forbes family say they are still awaiting further details from Durban police and call for compassion, space and time to congregate and decide on the upcoming days.
AKA leaves behind his 7-year old daughter, Kairo whom he shares with DJ Zinhle.
