We look at Scandal! actress Mapaseka Koetle’s marriage over the years.
Mapaseka’s marriage has become a hot topic in recent days following rumours that she’s moved out of her marital home.
Koetle also changed her double barrel surname ‘Koetle-Nyokong’ back to her maiden Koetle.
Here’s a timeline of Pasi Koetle’s marriage
Mapaseka and Nelson Nyokong have one child together – a daughter by the name Nema whom they welcomed in 2016. The actress often posts cool videos of her daughter on social media.
Gorge Restaurant
In January 2018, Mapaseka and her husband Nelson ventured into business together and launched their restaurant Gorge Sandton
Following the launch of Gorge, celebs flocked to the restaurant in numbers, encouraging South Africans to come and show support for Mapaseka.
It appears the business has now closed down as there hasn’t been much activity on its social media pages and its site is no longer working.
Lenyalo ha se Papadi
Ironically at the beginning of the year, Mapaskea announced her new series Lenyalo ha se Papadi with renowned actor Meeshack Mavuso.
The 13-episode comedy-drama follows the drama that ensues after Meshack Mavuso’s Desmond and Pasi Koetle’s Mpho decide to end their marriage and try to navigate a life of co-parenting, family, finances, and attempting to date while living under the same house.
Alleged divorce
It is reported that Pasi Koetle and her husband Nelson Nyokong are no longer together. Zimoja reports that the actress has removed her wedding band after several attempts to save her marriage.
“They tried to make it work but unfortunately the marriage failed,” the friend says. “Nelson is a nice guy, he loved her. She also loved him at some point, but she fell out of love years ago. They had decided to try things out for the sake of the baby. But we know, that never works out.”
