Renowned activist and academic Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh and his wife, Sumaya Hendricks, are celebrating 14 years of marriage, marking a decade and a half of shared success.
The couple, who have become a symbol of enduring partnership, took to social media to commemorate the milestone with Sizwe simply captioning a series of photos: “14 years. ❤️”
The pair’s relationship is defined by a remarkable alignment of intellect and art.
Both hold PhDs, with Sumaya earning her doctorate in 2024 to match Sizwe’s Oxford accolade.
Their bond has also been immortalised in music; Sizwe previously released the single “In My Feelz” across streaming platforms as a tribute to his wife, proving that his devotion remains as strong as ever.
Beyond their professional heights, the couple continues to focus on their growing family.
In April 2022, they welcomed their son, Hakim Thembekile, further cementing a private life that stands as a testament to stability and mutual support.
