In Inimba, Mfenyana plays Thumeka – a woman whose world unravels when her partner suddenly chooses to leave her and return to his first wife, who also happens to be Thumeka’s cousin.
In a desperate attempt to win back his affection, Thumeka goes to great lengths to change her wardrobe and appearance, to look like her life partner’s first wife.
She unravels when she realises that her actions are in vain.

Mfenyana’s raw delivery and nuanced performance have struck a chord with viewers, who’ve been flooding social media with praises and admiration for her talent.
Mfenyana rose to fame on Generations as the unforgettable Noluntu, a manipulative character known for drugging her mother Mawande Memela (played by Nambitha Mpumlwana).
Since then, she’s solidified her place in the industry with standout roles in shows like The Queen and now Inimba.
One thing’s clear – whether she’s playing a villain or a victim, Zenande Mfenyana knows how to bring a character to life, keeping South Africans entertained and emotionally invested every step of the way.
