Botswana-born South African actress Connie Ferguson recently celebrated her 55th birthday with an intimate gathering attended by family and close friends from the entertainment industry.
The stunning décor was curated by Nono Events, setting the tone for an elegant affair.
Connie made a grand entrance in a sophisticated dress, draped in a luxurious fur coat that completed her striking look.
Guests were treated to a live performance by singer Donald, who serenaded the crowd with his smooth vocals. Among those in attendance were US actor Malik Yoba, who appears in the upcoming season of Kings of Joburg, as well as Connie’s father.
On Connie’s birthday, her daughter Ali Ferguson penned a heartfelt message to honour her mother, not only as a parent, but also as a mentor and friend.
“Dimamzo!!!! Happy Birthday mama♥️🎂,” she began. “Thank you for being the best mom, friend and mentor. Words cannot describe how much you mean to me and the amount of love I have for you.”
Ali continued by expressing gratitude for everything her mother has done for their family and shared a special birthday wish:
“I hope on this day you are spoiled rotten and experience the love that you give us. I pray that God will grant you many, many, many more prosperous years filled with blessing on top of blessings.“I love you mama.”
