This week marks a proud milestone for the Mseleku family as daughter Mpilo celebrates her graduation.
Mpilo graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a Bachelor of Social Science degree.
Reflecting on the special day, family patriarch Musa Mseleku described it as a joyous occasion for the entire family.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to his wife Thobile for stepping into a motherly role for Mpilo, and also extended thanks to Mpilo’s biological mother.
“She made sure that she went to school all the way to university, where she graduated. Siyabonga kakhulu, Mzilikazi omkhulu, for showing Mzansi that we can do it,” Mseleku said.
“Mpilo, you must always remember that your mother made this possible. And to your biological mother — thank you for the opportunity.”
The news comes just a month after Mpilo began her first job. Thobile expressed joy and pride as the Izingane Zes’thembustar embarked on this exciting new chapter.
“I wish I could’ve been there to share this special moment with you, but I’m grateful to uMkhulu for always being there to support,” wrote Thobile.
“I’m so incredibly proud of you, mtaka Tho no Tho. Thank you, @musamseleku, for this blessing. Her name is MpiloEnhle Aphile Mseleku @u._enhle.”
