Tshabalala will make his debut tonight

Skeem Saam welcomes legendary actor Treasure Tshabalala as Uncle Bhekumuzi tonight.
His visit comes in light of Lehasa finally taking the next step in his relationship with Pretty. The Maphosas and the Seakamelas come together for lobola negotiations.
Pretty considers taking on a double-barrel surname, but will she go through with the decision? And with Dr Blue in the picture, will her marriage to Lehasa stand the test? Meanwhile, things begin to settle for Mapitsi as she works on mending her relationship with her mother-in-law.
Treasure Tshabalala is a South African actor and radio DJ best known for his leading role as Timothy Gumede, the father of the title character, in the sitcom Nomzamo (2006–2008).
His other television credits include Phindi, 90 Plein Street, and Generations. He also appeared in the mini-series Shaka Zulu (1987) and the Italian made-for-TV movie The Vulture is a Patient Bird (1989).
In the 1990s, Tshabalala co-presented a soccer series on SABC1 and in 2006 he co-presented ngoMgqibelo.
On the big screen, he featured in Stoney: The One and Only, Great Afrika, The Gods Must Be Crazy II, and Windprints (1990).
Tshabalala has also had a distinguished career in radio, presenting on Swazi Radio (1972), Capitol Radio (1979–1985), and Radio Metro (1986–1992). He is fluent in Zulu, English, and Swazi.
In 2009, he played the role of Uncle Godfrey in Mama’s Boy, a one-hour drama that formed part of the eKasi: Our Stories series.
