Award-winning actor Warren Masemola recently took to social media to celebrate his son Mansa-Kgomo’s birthday with a moving message.
Sharing a touching reflection, Masemola looked back on the moment his son came into the world during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. A time filled with fear and uncertainty for many families.
“I remember this day, when COVID hit the world and there was a lot of uncertainty about your arrival on this planet,” he wrote. “I’ve never prayed so hard in my life, but my ancestors together with God reassured me that all will be well, as it is today.”
His message offered a rare glimpse into the emotional journey of becoming a parent in such unpredictable times.
Masemola continued, “I reflect on your growth, looking forward to the future and the impact you will make in this world… I am super proud to be your father, all day, every day ♾️”The post ended with a joyful birthday wish to young Mansa-Kgomo.

Masemola and his wife, Kgaugelo, announced their son’s birth in 2020.
Writing from Netcare Hospital in Olivedale, right by his wife and their newborn, the actor captioned the image “Cause true kings don’t die, we multiply, peace.”
