South African R&B singer Kelello Segoana, affectionately known as Kaylow, has confirmed that the cause of his second horrific accident was a tire blowout.
The singer was involved in yet another serious crash, leaving his fans shaken and deeply concerned about his safety in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18 October 2025.
In a short media statement, Segoana detailed the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In the early hours of Saturday, October 18, 2025, while driving home from the studio in Ruimsig to my family in Pretoria, I was unfortunately involved in a car accident caused by a tire blowout on the N1 near Beyers Naudé,” said the singer.
He added that the tragic incident led to a loss of control, resulting in a crash that completely destroyed his vehicle.
The accident comes just a year after he was still recovering from a horrific crash that nearly claimed his life in September 2024.
“I am currently in hospital recovering and remain in good spirits. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all my fans and the public for their concern and support,” he said.
