Dr Dre has allegedly agreed to pay his ex-wife, Nicole Young, $100-million (R1.5-billion) in their divorce settlement.
According to TMZ, the ‘Still D.R.E’ hitmaker reached a deal in their property settlement agreement.
The rapper will reportedly pay Nicole $50-million now and another $50-million in a year.
Despite the hefty amount, Dr Dre is reportedly happy with the settlement as Nicole reportedly wanted half of his estate.
The rapper has a net worth of between $800-million to $1-billion. The couple signed a prenup when they tied the knot in 1996.
But Nicole said Dr Dre pressured her into signing the documents and claimed he tore up the prenup shortly after their wedding.
According to TMZ, Dr Dre gets to keep the seven properties they own, including a $100-million mansion in California. Nicole also has no rights to his master recordings and trademarks.

No spousal support for Nicole
Nicole originally asked the court to award her $2-million (R29,436,480 at the time) in monthly spousal support. She told the court that the money was for expenses such as clothes, which she spends $135,000 on every month. The amount also included a $900,000 entertainment bill.
Dr Dre was ordered to pay Nicole R4-million in spousal support in July. He was expected to pay the monthly figure “until the party receiving support remarries or enters into a new domestic partnership, death of either party”.
The order was a temporary one as they were still ironing out the details of their divorce settlement.
Their final divorce settlement states that Nicole will not receive spousal support going forward and she has to pay her own legal bills.
Dr Dre and Nicole have two children, Truice and Truly.
The rapper celebrated his divorce in early December. His friend, Breyon Prescott, shared a picture of him sitting in front of balloons that read: ‘Divorced AF’.
