Not only are they adorable as one of South Africa’s power-couples, but Dineo and Solo Langa have also taken the brave leap to start a business as a married couple.
Finding the balance to make the formula for marriage, love, and business work takes a lot of patience, acceptance, and, you guessed it, hard work.
They have worked together previously, even before Port of LNG, their couple’s clothing line, and they have learned many money lessons, which they share with Sumitra Nydoo on My Money and Me.
“Managing time. What tends to happen with both of us being overly ambitious people is you tend to want to cram so many things together, imagining this grand reveal—pacing ourselves and the management of getting it right from infancy. A lot of it is rushed in TV, and we wanted to get to a point where we navigate its pace, which gives us a sense of control,” Solo’s biggest business lesson.
Their clothing line is doing well, and they have dressed many South African couples on their big day.
Apart from the business side of things, come 18h00pm, they switch off devices and unplug from everything online and focus on their alone time.
Being together for nine years, married for two, the couple does almost everything together, including hitting the gym. With very little time apart, they admit that affection is their love language.
