Multi-platinum record producer Da Muziqal Chef cooks up a storm on the Ultimate Kaya 959 Top 30.
Serving heat with yet another killer amapiano track, Nguwe, the hitmaker sat down with DJ Keyez in a no-holds barred interview.
He was also handed Multi-Platinum plaques on the Ultimate Kaya 959 Top 30:
- 2x Platinum for John Wick
- 1x Platinum for uMsholozi
- 1 x Platinum for Abekho Ready

Born in Soweto, Tshepo Bure moved to Vosloorus during his high school years and then settled in Lenasia South.
His stage name Da Muziqal Chef came about in high school when he came up with the name because he loves food and music.
His love for music began in church at the age of 13 where he started of as a drummer.
He went on to study Digital Music Composition & Production at Boston in 2016. His biggest musical inspiration and role model is Dr Duda.
Da Muziqal Chef is currently on Spotify’s Top Ten South African Songs and Artists of 2021 with his track John Wick.

The humble music maestro pins his successes to being focused and being surrounded by SA giants who inspire him to keep pushing.
Maintaining consistency in the industry means he spends most of his time writing and fine-tuning the lyrics and beats.
“Sometimes it can take a year just to get a track right. It’s hard work. There’s no one you can depend on but yourself,” he tells DJ Keyez.
He drops his latest masterpiece just in time for the festive season, with Nguwe with De Mthuda.
