Connie Chiume recently shared snaps of herself arriving in the US for what is believed to be the shooting on the second installment of blockbuster Black Panter.
She is one one of Mzansi’s most beloved actors and was part of the record-breaking cast in the first Black Panther.
Best known for the roles in the films Black Panther, Black Is King and Blessers as well as in television for Zone 14 and Rhythm City. Connie also acts in a South African soapie on Mzansi Magic called Gomora.

She took to Instagram and wrote: “Helloooo United States Of America…We thank God, We praise him, We give him the glory”
“Black Panther” opened in February 2018, shattering with a predominantly Black cast and earned $1.34 billion worldwide, making “Black Panther” Marvel’s highest grossing non-“Avengers” movie of all time.
The film earned seven Academy Award nominations, including for best picture (the first superhero movie ever recognized in that category), and it won Oscars for score, costume design and production design.

Last month she celebrated her 69th birthday with friends and family at the 012 Lifestyle restaurant in Brooklyn, Pretoria.
