HempCrete
So hemp and marijuana come from the same plant species, a very strong and versatile material. It’s also low maintenance, cost-effective and with the right designer visual magnificent. So strong, hempcrete is also fireproof and earthquake resistant. It’s also insect and rat resistant.
Bamboo
Bamboo has been used as a cheap building choice for many years, it’s a natural material that lasts long but even fits in with a modern setting. Bamboo has a higher compressive strength than concrete, wood, brick and a tensile strength is more superior than steel.
Wood
If you are looking for a forest-like cozy home, then using wood is your best bet. The use of beech, oak, pine and walnut tree wood as a key building material is popula r all over the world. Inexpensive materials such as reclaimed timber compliment that rustic cabin-like exterior.
Thatch Roof
This has been a way to build homes throughout African villages. It’s another cheap building roof material to consider with modern touches you can have an attractive home.
