The bodies of two women were found dumped in a veld in Boksburg on Monday. Police confirmed the gruesome discovery after being notified by the community.
Both women appear to be in their 30s and were found near Dawn Park, Boksburg.
There were no visible injuries detected but due to the state of decomposition, a cause of death will only be determined via a postmortem.

Tsepiso Ntomane has been identified as one of the woman. Her family confirmed to the Sowetan that she planned to leave Gauteng to look for work before her death.
She was unemployed at the time of her death and her cousin who collects scrap metals, found her in the veld.
Police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said an inquest docket has been opened.
Residents claim this is not the first time women’s bodies were discovered in the area.
