Sechaba has accused his former record label of destroying his career.
Gospel artist Sechaba Pali has talked openly about how his mental health has been impacted by his ailing music career.
He opened up about his struggles after entering into a deal with music producer Tshepo Nzimande in an interview with SABC News, stating that he was constantly in debt to the business and that they were forced to lend him money.
“They killed me, they destroyed me,” said Sechaba as he fought back tears.

He also reflected on the agony of not having the money to bury his loved ones.
“I think I need to see a psychologist or something, because, even now, I don’t know what I’m doing. It was a calling, how did it end up being something that destroys me?”
“It would be much better if I was a tsotsi [thief] in the streets and become whatever I want to become. They killed me, they destroyed me. But one thing I know is that God has a plan and I know I will be fine because when I read the Bible there were people God gave dreams to but they were thrown in ditches.” said Sechaba.
