Could we be experiencing the birth of a South African emcee with the latest release featuring Kabza De Small’s ‘alter ego’?
“Papta Mancane” is all about hip-hop music.
On Pervader’s song “City Dreams,” Kabza De Small appears under the alias Papta Mancane, which would appear to be his rapper alter ego.
Young Stunna and Papta Mancane both contribute melodic verses to the song that has a distinctly South African song.

Young Stunna is no stranger to hip hop.
Beginning as a hip-hop performer, Young Stunna gained notoriety last year as an amapiano act thanks to the slapper “Adiwele,” which was created by Kabza De Small. He returns to rapping on “City Dreams” over a smooth trap rhythm.
Towards the song’s ending, Papta Mancane delivers a verse in a high-pitched tone that combines singing and rapping, a style common in heard in local hip-hop.
