South African rapper Unathi Bhongo Mnyango, known by his stage name Anatii, has ventured into the world of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) with his music.
By releasing a brand-new track titled Punisher in the form of an NFT, he has made a significant comeback to music.
In essence, NFTs are digital collectables. They are referred to as “non-fungible” since each token is theoretically distinct, in contrast to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, which are designed to be interchangeable and as “fungible” as currency.
Anatii officially ended his four-year break by releasing the song, this is after he shocked his fans a month ago when he removed all of his solo albums from all streaming services weeks ago.
NFTs, like cryptocurrencies, are stored on a blockchain, which functions as a decentralized ledger that records transactions without the aid of a bank or other centralized organization.
