Cassper Nyovest has been recognised by Beyoncé’s ‘BeyGOOD’ charity for his contribution to the music industry.
“Celebrating the brilliance and creativity of Black Musicians who have influenced the world through their art,” BeyGOOD wrote on Twitter.
The ‘Good For That’ rapper received an honoured in the afrobeat, hip-hop category.
The charity has been celebrating ‘Black Music Month’ throughout June. The annual celebration has been celebrated in America since June 1979.
It is also known as African-American Music Appreciation Month, But over the years, black artists from outside of America have also been recognised.
Cassper responded to BeyGOOD’s tweet with one word: “wow”.

His fans had a little more to say about the honour.
“Man, you made us fear not to do anything in this world as black kids,” one Twitter user wrote.
“Congratulations King. Well deserved,” another follower added.
Even those who don’t listen to Cassper’s music gave him a pat on the back.
“I’m not actually a big fan of your music since I’m not a hip hop fan, but I am a very big fan of your lifestyle and the influence you have on dreamers. Your passion to succeed and the focus you keep to achieve. Big up bro.”
