“Thanks so much Clima Africa Awards. I’d like to give honour and glory to God Almighty. Tonight is the biggest night in the music industry, of course the Gospel Music Industry. Thank you the awards that I’ve received tonight and I don’t take it for grated,” she said in her acceptance speech.

The media personality says she is grateful for the love she has been receiving.

“For the past decade, I’ve been the captain of the industry and I’ve walked this journey with a lot, receiving so much love through our fellow brothers and sisters all the way from Nigeria. It means a lot to me and my career of course,” she said.

The president of the Africa Gospel Awards and CEO of Ncwane communications said the awards are motivation for her to groom other females in the music business.

“It means that I have a responsibility to take on the baton and make sure that other females who are coming after me, joining the music industry, they see the light and they see that the music business is actually a business and needs to be treated as a business. So, thank you so much and God bless you,” she said.
