A video from today’s protest shows a private security companies shooting live ammunition at protesters in KZN who’s only retaliation is stone.
Over the past few days, there’s been rolling protests in Gauging and Kwa-Zulu Natal which started as a result of the incarceration of former President Jacob Zuma.
According to reports the private security guards were been deployed to control the the unrest, giving assistance to police officers who have been stretched to their breaking point.

EFF Leader Julius Malema has also threatened that the red berets will intervene if the situation persists and condemned the deployment of soldiers in Gauteng and KZN.
