DJ Black Coffee recently got to play alongside his inspiration, DJ Louie Vega.
Vega was a guest at Black Coffee’s show in New York over the weekend.
Coffee shared a short clip of the Grammy Award-winning artist playing and said he was moved to tears as he watched the performance.
“At this point I was tearing up @LouieVeganyc Ladies and Gentlemen. What a weekend,” he tweeted.

Vega was not the only megastar who got to perform at Coffee’s weekend show in New York.
He also hosted Joe Claussel.
Coffee says hosting the two DJs was a career highlight.
“I’m over joyed to be doing this thing,” he said in an Instagram video before the shows.
Vega responded that he was just as excited.
“Thank you for the beautiful words! You know how we feel about you. we are just as excited!,” he wrote.
