Rescue efforts are underway in Miami, USA after a condo building in Surfside, Florida collapsed in the early hours of this morning.

The Champlain Towers luxury apartment block is a 40-year building and a full investigation will be conducted to determine why the building collapsed.

Over 99 people remain unaccounted for with one fatality reported thus far. It is unclear how many people were in the building at the time of the collapse.
Firefighters and rescue officials are doing everything possible to locate survivors, listening through the rubble for signs of life. A boy was pulled from the rubble earlier in what rescue officials call a miracle.
