Tennis was the order of the day this past weekend as South African stars touched down in London to soak in the sun and all the action at the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.
Held at the iconic All England Lawn Tennis Club, the tournament was attended by international A-listers including Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Rami Malek, and Cynthia Erivo, alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Representing Mzansi, our local celebs also made sure to leave their mark on and off the court. From exclusive Stella Artois experiences to courtside seats for some of the tournament’s biggest matches, here’s a look at the South African celebs who did Wimbledon in style.
Lloyiso
Musician Lloyiso kicked off his Wimbledon experience with a performance at a Stella Artois event before taking his seat at Centre Court for the high-stakes semifinals.
“Today I get to go to WIMBLEDON WOW! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE… A lot of situations are placed in our lives to take us further than our wildest dreams. Tennis was my door to being the superhuman I am today,” he shared on Instagram.
Jimmy Tau
Former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs captain Jimmy Tau proved that sharp tailoring never goes out of style. The Supersport football analyst served pure sophistication in a nude linen blazer, tailored chinos, and loafers.
Sithelo Shozi
The Masked Singer South Africa detective Sithelo Shozi made it a romantic getaway alongside her fiancé, Zimbabwean businessman Kudzaishe James Magura. The couple took in the elite men’s semifinal clash between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic, in their finest court-side fashion outfits.
Thapelo Mokoena
Actor and producer Thapelo Mokoena joined the Stella Artois family for an unforgettable weekend in London, beginning with the exclusive “Let’s Do Dinner” experience before heading to the hallowed lawns.
