Acclaimed South African actress Leleti Khumalo is continuing her remarkable run of recognition, having recently been honoured with the Performing Arts Legend Award at the prestigious A Night With Legends ceremony.
Khumalo celebrated the honour on social media, expressing deep gratitude for the recognition.
“We’ve reached legend status and I’m truly humbled,” she shared.
“It was truly an honour and thank you to everyone who’s always been a part of my journey. Ngyabonga kakhulu.”

This latest accolade solidifies Khumalo’s status as a towering figure in the arts and comes just months after receiving international recognition.
Earlier this year, the veteran performer was presented with the Golden Nymph Award at the Monte Carlo Television Festival for her compelling work on the short film, Don’t Give Up.
The film, which moved international audiences, follows the harsh life of Faith, a homeless single mother navigating survival in modern Johannesburg.
The A Night With Legends awards aim to ensure that South Africa’s cultural heritage and icons receive due national recognition, thereby fostering cultural pride and unity across the nation.
