Among the bridesmaids were Latoyah’s close friends Shaka iLembe star Nomzamo Mbatha and The Real Housewives of Durban star Slee Ndlovu.
Reconciliation
Mpho and Latoyah were together for almost 15 years before they married in a private wedding ceremony on 18 February 2023.
The comedian has openly shared that before their wedding, they were separated and reconciled after he went through depression during COVID-19.
Speaking to Sowetan, Mpho revealed he quit alcohol and decided to turn his life around, which helped him to be the best partner to Latoyah.
He also noted the positive effect their reconciliation had on their daughter, Imani.
The duo made their joint radio debut when they hosted The Best T in the City on Kaya 959 early this year, on 18 February 2025.
When asked if their relationship had a theme song, Latoya said, “Differences by Genuine – that’s our song. I even included it in our wedding vows.”
“It’s funny because the very thing that has both kept us apart and brought us together is our differences. Over the years, we’ve learned that our differences are what make us unique. I love that she’s different from me,” Mpho added.
