South African musician Prince Kaybee is grieving the loss of his mother, who recently passed away after a long period of illness.
The award-winning producer took to social media to share his heartbreak, expressing both his deep love for his mother and the pain of watching her suffer.
In a candid and emotional post, Prince Kaybee reflected on his mother’s faith, her resilience, and the struggles she endured. He described how she prayed daily, often overnight, and how her strength and belief inspired him.
However, he also shared his personal questions and frustrations, wondering why someone so devoted had to experience such hardship.
Prince Kaybee opened up about the difficulty of witnessing her pain and the emotional challenges she faced in her final years.
“She just wanted to raise my kids,” he shared, noting that their family had scheduled her first-ever surgery consultation, which he had hoped would change her life. Sadly, she passed away just days before the appointment.
While his words raise raw and personal questions about faith, they also highlight the bond between him and his mom.
I just wanna discuss God, if he exists.

My mother was one of the most faithful people I know, kept the loyalty and faith in her God, prayed on average twice a day, sometimes overnight because I used to listen to her cry in prayer throughout the night because my room was right…
Today is the day we booked first ever surgery consultation that could’ve changed her life, but nooo, God had other plans, she had to die a few days before her surgery after ALL that she went through. MY MOTHER JUST WANTED TO RAISE MY KIDS MAN, she felt thats the only thing left…
