Outspoken poet and artist Ntsiki Mazwai turned 45 yesterday

The renowned Mazwai sisters celebrated a significant milestone on Wednesday, 3 September, as outspoken poet and artist Ntsiki Mazwai turned 45.
The trio, known for their close-knit bond and public displays of sisterly affection, have been leading the tributes for the multi-talented personality.
Ntsiki, an award-winning poet who later expanded her career into music and media with her own podcast, is widely recognised for her vocal presence on social media. She is often seen sharing strong opinions on political and social issues and is a fierce defender of her sisters, Thandiswa and Nomsa.
In addition to her media work, Ntsiki is also celebrated for her unique beadwork, which she incorporates into clothing designs.

Leading the birthday wishes was her older sister, Thandiswa Mazwai. The acclaimed singer and songwriter took to social media to express her pride and affection.
“Happy 45th birthday to my little sister Ntsiki Mazwai.
“I am so happy for all that is happening for you and always, always pray for you to have more of all the things you love,” Thandiswa wrote.
