A worried listener revealed that his wife has been hiding her friend’s affair right under his nose.

The wife’s friend would often leave her car at their house, claiming it was safer there whenever she was in the neighbourhood to visit her “family.”

During a recent boys’ night out, Anonymous discovered that the friend had no family living nearby.

When he confronted his wife, she admitted that the friend had been cheating. Now he is left questioning whether he can trust his wife, who not only hid the affair but also allowed their home to be used as cover.

“Last year my wife’s friend would often leave her car at our house for a few hours and then come back to fetch it. I once asked my wife why she does this, and she explained that her friend visits family in the neighbourhood and prefers to leave her car at our place. It made sense, and there were even times when she’d find me at home.

“A few weeks ago, my wife and I attended a party, and her friend was there with her husband. While we were sitting as amajita, one of the guys made a light joke, asking what it was that I had at my house that this guy’s wife seemed to love so much, since she was always around. I answered confidently that she usually leaves her car at our place when she visits her relatives.

“The husband looked shocked and asked which family, since he didn’t know her to have any relatives in our neighbourhood. I brushed it off, saying, “You know how women call their friends family,” and left it at that. Later at home, I told my wife about the conversation and asked her to be honest with me. That’s when she confessed that her friend has actually been cheating on her husband, and she’s been covering for her all along.

“Uncle T, this left me deeply unsettled. More than being sad for the husband, I started questioning my wife. If she can cover up something this big for her friend, and use our home as part of it, what’s to stop her from doing the same herself? I haven’t told her friend’s husband because I don’t believe it’s my place, but now I look at my wife differently, and I’m struggling with trust issues. My first move was to ban her friend from my house, and she’s in her feels about it.

“How do I trust her when she says she’s going out with friends? I also think she should cut ties with this friend, birds of a feather, Bra T. Uncle T, what else could be my blind spot here?”
