Jojo Robinson defends Boo Bear’s recent surgery, saying it was needed to correct vision problems from years of MMA fighting.

The Real Housewives of Durban cast member Jojo Robinson has revealed that her husband Calven “Boo Bear” Robinson, had an eyebrow lift and a blepharoplasty two weeks ago.
In a recent Instagram post, the reality TV star disputed social media commentary that suggested she influenced Calven into getting the surgery.
Jojo revealed the real reason behind Calven’s procedure, sharing that his eye specialist recommended the surgery because the overhanging skin impaired his vision.
“BOO BEAR had an eyebrow lift and blepharoplasty 2 weeks ago.. with my favourite and my personal plastic surgeon @drpaulmcgarr .. He did it because his vision was impaired from the overhanging skin. .. so he had to do this surgery to open his eyes up. ( i did not ask for nor want this surgery. It was recommended by his eye specialist),” Jojo wrote.

On her husband’s healing, Jojo shared that Calven, who is a former MMA fighter, did the procedure in the surgeons room with no anesthesia.
“This is his healing in the first week.. just btw, its was actually needed for his impaired vision due to years of being in the fighting ring.. but ultimately the surgery just made him cutesier anyway.. like a cutie little bear 🐻 with wide eyes,” she added.
In December 2024, Jojo revealed that she underwent a facelift, dissolved all the fillers in her face, and opted for a deep plane face and neck lift.
Her procedures were performed by Dr Paul McGarr, the same surgeon who did her tummy tuck and arm surgery.
