KwaZulu-Natal police have successfully confiscated over R500,000 worth of illicit drugs following coordinated raids in the Durban areas of Westville and Hillcrest on Monday.
A foreign national and a local woman have been arrested in connection with the drug dealing operation.
According to KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda, the arrests were the culmination of an intelligence-led operation by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Organised Crime Unit (Narcotics).
Acting on search warrants, officers executed raids at two separate apartments in Westville and Hillcrest yesterday, 28th July.
During the searches, police uncovered a significant haul of narcotics, including ecstasy tablets, ecstasy powder, heroin capsules, cocaine bags, and crystal meth. The total street value of the seized drugs is estimated to be in excess of R500,000.

The two suspects are expected to appear in court shortly to face charges related to drug dealing.
