Springbok titan Eben Etzebeth, affectionately known as ‘Elizabedi’, is set to chronicle his illustrious rugby career in an upcoming autobiography titled Eben Etzebeth Unlocked.
The news, shared by the formidable lock on Instagram, promises fans an intimate look into the life and successes of one of world rugby’s most respected figures.
Etzebeth, a towering presence at two metres tall, made his international debut in 2012. Over 13 years at the elite level, he has built an impressive legacy, renowned for both his physical dominance and his exemplary leadership.
“Over the past few months, I’ve taken time to reflect on my journey, the highs, the lows, the lessons, the people, and the moments that have shaped me on and off the field,” Etzebeth revealed to his followers.
“I’m proud to finally announce that I’ve written a book.”
Unlocked will delve into Etzebeth’s story, “from growing up in Goodwood to my aspirations, the challenges I’ve faced, and what it really took to wear the green and gold,” he explained.
