Do you believe in spirits, ghosts, or energies beyond this world? That was the question posed by the Drive 959 team in a recent show that sent shivers down listeners’ spines.
The team asked: “What’s the one supernatural experience you’ve had that no one would believe unless they lived it with you?”
Kgomotso Meso shared a chilling personal story that still haunts her to this day.
“This happened a few years ago, before COVID,” she began. “I was travelling home from groove late at night when I noticed a woman walking along the road. She looked heavily intoxicated, and I told the people I was with that we should help her for safety reasons.”
They stopped, spoke to the woman, and offered to take her home. With directions from her, they safely dropped her off at a house in the area. But the story doesn’t end there.
“The next day, we went back to the house to check on her,” Kgomotso said. “An elderly woman answered the door and told us something that made my blood run cold: the girl we described had passed away years ago.”
Kgomotso was stunned.
“I froze right there on the spot. The family also told us we weren’t the first ones to say we’d dropped her off in the early hours of the morning. I’m still shook to this day.”
