South African celebrity chef Lorna Maseko is once again making waves on the international culinary scene, having officially debuted on the popular Food Network competition show, Chopped, earlier this week.
Her Chopped appearance adds to an impressive list of accolades that highlight her significant impact on the culinary world.
In 2020, her cookbook, Celebrate with Lorna Maseko, garnered two prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Awards for “Best Celebrity Chef Cookbook” and “Best International Cookbook.”
More recently, in June 2023, she was honoured with the “Culinary Media Personality of the Year” at the 5th Annual Luxe Jonsson Workwear Restaurant Awards, further solidifying her status as a leading voice and talent in the industry.
Maseko announced the exciting news on Tuesday, 1 July, sharing her enthusiasm for the high-stakes kitchen experience with her followers.
