Reality television personality and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian officially completed her legal studies in May 2025, marking a significant personal and professional achievement.
The milestone was celebrated during a private graduation ceremony surrounded by her family, mentors, and close friends.
Kardashian, 44, chose a unique path to her legal education, opting for California’s “reading the law” program.
This alternative allows aspiring lawyers to study under the guidance of a licensed attorney rather than attending a traditional law school.
Her journey began in 2019, fueled by her burgeoning passion for criminal justice reform and her impactful work on clemency cases, notably that of Alice Marie Johnson.
The Skims founder shared her joy and gratitude on Instagram, acknowledging the public who had followed her unconventional pursuit. “All of you guys have been on this journey with me,” she remarked in her graduation speech, delivered at the intimate commencement.
According E!News the rigorous commitment demanded 18 hours of study per week, 48 weeks a year, for six straight years – totaling an astonishing 5,184 hours of legal immersion.
