Orlando Pirates have announced the launch of a brand-new, club-themed hotel room in Cape Town.
This exciting initiative, in collaboration with the Buccaneers’ accommodation partners, Marriott Bonvoy, comes just ahead of their highly anticipated Nedbank Cup final clash against Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
Football enthusiasts visiting the Mother City can now immerse themselves in the spirit of the iconic club at the Protea Hotel Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge, where the unique Orlando Pirates-themed room is officially open for bookings, as announced on the club’s social media platforms.
According to a statement released by the Buccaneers’ accommodation sponsors, the new Cape Town room boasts a “striking design that blends the Orlando Pirates’ signature black-and-white colours with a coastal aesthetic,” perfectly capturing the essence of both the club and its vibrant new location.
Dorcas Dlamini Mbele, Marriott International’s Senior Commercial Director in Sub-Saharan Africa, stated that:
“With this launch, we’re extending the Orlando Pirates partnership beyond Johannesburg, giving football fans in Cape Town — and those travelling with the team — a new way to immerse themselves in the spirit of the club and their love for the game while enjoying the city’s vibrant atmosphere.”
This latest offering provides a unique and exciting way for Orlando Pirates supporters to connect with their beloved team while experiencing the beauty and energy of Cape Town.
