South African actress and media mogul Connie Ferguson has marked what would have been her late husband Shona Ferguson’s 51st birthday with a heartfelt tribute on social media.
Sharing an emotional post, Connie honoured the memory of her “king” and reflected on the joy and love he brought into their lives.
“My KING 👑 would have been 51 today! 🥹 Happy Heavenly Birthday MY SKAT. 🎂🎉🎊🎈 Conversations about you always end up in laughter! You gave us such a good happy life! Thank you for the beautiful memories! They’ve really kept us going even in the most challenging circumstances. I LOVE YOU FOR ETERNITY!” she wrote.
Shona Ferguson, a beloved actor and television producer, passed away in 2021 due to COVID-related complications.
His legacy continues to live on through his family, fans and the many shows he brought to life through Ferguson Films.
The couple’s daughter, Ali Ferguson, also shared a touching message to her father:
“Happy heavenly birthday Fah ♥️🎂 The missing never stops. I pray that you continue resting peacefully 🙏🏽 I love you fah.”
Shona’s stepdaughter Sedi Matsunyane echoed the sentiment:
“Happy Heavenly Birthday Fah… I’m reposting this because you truly brought laughter and joy into our lives when you were with us. It’s always bittersweet to think of you as no more but the memories get us through. I love you to infinity.”
