The South African Police Service (SAPS) has announced a substantial R350 000 reward for any credible information that could lead to the discovery of three police constables who have been unaccounted for since last week. The announcement was made on Sunday by National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, during a press briefing held to update the public on the ongoing investigation.
Commissioner Masemola made a direct appeal to the community, urging anyone with solid leads to come forward and contact Captain Chaacha Manga at 082 527 6099. He emphasised the urgency of the situation and the commitment of the SAPS to finding their missing members and bringing those responsible for their disappearance to justice.
The families of the missing officers – Constable Linda Cebekhulu (24), Constable Keamogetswe Buys (30), and Constable Boipelo Senoge (20) – have also joined the plea for public assistance. They expressed their deep concern for their loved ones and conveyed their gratitude to the police for their intensified efforts in the search.
The three constables were last seen travelling in a white Volkswagen Polo sedan with registration number JCL 401 FS. Their intended destination was Limpopo, and they were last spotted at an Engen filling station situated near the Grasmere toll plaza along the N1 highway.

On Sunday, Commissioner Masemola, accompanied by Deputy National Commissioner for Crime Detection, Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya, convened a meeting with the dedicated investigative team assigned to the case.
Speaking with determination, Commissioner Masemola stated,
“We are hopeful, and we will find whoever is behind this. We will not rest.”
He further underscored the significance of public involvement, stating that the R350 000 reward is being offered for any information that can shed light on the whereabouts of the missing officers and the individuals involved in their disappearance.
The SAPS is urging anyone who may have seen the vehicle or the officers, or who possesses any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, to contact Captain Manga immediately. The police have assured the public that all information received will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
