The inspiring journey of the Gauta BMX cyclists continues to gather momentum, with the popular trio securing a mouth-watering partnership with leading fast-food franchise, KFC.
Gauta Mahlakoane, Maxwell Ndou, and Karabo Mokoo, who recently captured the nation’s attention by cycling from Limpopo to Cape Town, have been met with widespread support, accolades, and generous donations.
Their remarkable fundraising initiative aims to establish a cycling club within their community, introducing more young people to the benefits and enjoyment of BMX. Along their arduous journey, the cyclists not only raised funds but also won the hearts of South Africans, attracting the attention of significant sponsors.
The latest major organisation to join their growing list of supporters is KFC, who have forged an exciting partnership with the Gauta BMX cyclists.
“Thank you for all the donations and efforts from the nation, they are well received by the boys and they are grateful.
“The Boys Are Officially in a KFC partnership,” DJ Karri said.
DJ Karri also indicated ambitious long-term plans for the cyclists, mentioning potential collaborations with major brands such as Mercedes-Benz SA and Raleigh SA.
